Wildlife first, whitewater finale
Spend two nights in Tortuguero with a naturalist canoe excursion and village tour, then return by boat and transfer to the Pacuare River for a full rafting day. Finish in San José, La Fortuna or Puerto Viejo, subject to the operator's current service area.
Tortuguero
The first two days focus on canals, rainforest and village life. The current package includes three breakfasts, but lunches and dinners in Tortuguero, park admission and any seasonal turtle tour require separate confirmation.
Pacuare Class III–IV rafting
On day three, paddle approximately 30 km/18 miles through Class III–IV rapids. Guides provide equipment, briefing and lunch. Participants must be at least 12 and able to paddle, follow commands and manage an unexpected swim. Operation depends on water and weather.
