Make Tortuguero part of your route
Start near San José at Adventure Inn, in La Fortuna, or on the southern Caribbean coast, then finish in a different supported region. Shared road and boat transport turns an overnight Tortuguero visit into a practical connection instead of returning the way you came.
One night, village and canals
Exploradores Outdoors includes one night in an economy or standard property, a guided village visit and an early naturalist canoe excursion. Current accommodation options include Hotel Liah's, La Casona or a similar property according to category and availability. Tortuguero is roadless, so the itinerary includes the necessary road and boat transfers.
Costs to plan separately
National-park admission, lunches, dinner and the optional seasonal turtle nesting tour are not included. Two breakfasts and operator insurance are included. Wildlife and turtle sightings are never guaranteed.
